Follow-up from SUI Connect: New York
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, I had the pleasure of attending the SUI Connect event in New York City.
The connections I made their reminded me of why I’m so passionate about Web3 community building.
Fellow builders, founders and other types of enthusiasts attended the event. I enjoyed the discussion I had with some of them. Topics that came up in conversation included the following.
- Decentralized storage and the opportunity it provides for security, availability, cost-effectiveness and entrepreneurship
- The SUI bridge going live on mainnet
- Digital trust and crypto compliance
- How fulfilling it was to accept SUI as one of our free party gifts that we were able to access by visiting a specified URL
