Soonami Venturethon is unlike any other startup support experience Web3 Enabler has participated in. As part of Cohort 7, we were selected based on our early work designing a new Digital Asset Wallet, and we’ve been excited to use this opportunity to refine and scale that product for broader enterprise adoption. The Venturethon’s unique format gives startups the space and structure to test bold ideas with real support across every phase of development. The strong technical focus is great change of pace from the sales oriented Built in Miami style programs.
“Hi. I’m Alex Hochberger, founder and CEO of Web3 Enabler. Being invited into Soonami Venturethon for Cohort 7 has been an energizing experience. We’ve had the chance to go deep on team-building, product design, and go-to-market strategy for our new Digital Asset Wallet, and we’ve found Soonami’s structured format incredibly valuable in helping early-stage ideas take shape. It’s a rare kind of accelerator—and we’re proud to be part of it.”
A New Format for Early-Stage Acceleration
Unlike traditional accelerators, Soonami Venturethon is built around discovering and supporting startups at the very earliest stages—before product-market fit, before revenue, and often before a working MVP. This makes it an ideal environment for experimentation and rapid iteration, especially for founders solving hard technical problems. Focusing on our new Digital Asset Wallet for Financial Services Cloud let us revisit the rush of rapidly prototyping a proof of concept and MVP. This return to true startup development helped propel us forward on our new offering.
Throughout the program, Web3 Enabler has actively participated in sessions focused on team development, UX design, and customer discovery. These structured tracks helped shape our thinking around how to position our new wallet solution—not just as a blockchain product, but as a tool that makes digital assets usable, accessible, and intuitive for real-world users.
Building Up Our Team
One of the most unique aspects of the Soonami Venturethon is its team-first approach. Unlike many programs that focus primarily on CEOs or solo founders, participation in Venturethon requires a full team and encourages every member to contribute actively. That emphasis has made a real difference for Web3 Enabler—our co-founder and team have each had meaningful roles throughout the program. The collaborative environment has helped us grow stronger as a unit and refine how we work together as we scale this new product.
Focused on Building the Future
For us, the Venturethon came at the perfect time. We were ready to commit to a new product vision and needed the right community to help push it forward. Soonami provided exactly that—along with mentors and peer companies tackling equally ambitious challenges in the Web3 space.
We’re proud to be building our next chapter in collaboration with the Soonami Venturethon community and excited for what comes next as we bring our new wallet to market.
